While looking for affordable health insurance a person is faced with a number of decisions to make in regards to what in their policy they will keep for benefits and which ones they will remove in order to gain a cheaper price. This balancing act is difficult, due to a number of factors, the primary one being our inability to reach into the future and actually know which benefits we need and which ones we would not. This would typically be a risk we advocate ignoring and always make sure you have prescription benefits. However, if you were to take this risk, we would say that it would be less riskier for younger applicants then older applicant who may statistically fair to have those benefits then to not. The same would be true for major medical insurance, this is much more needs with age because the risk of filing the claim increases dramatically.
